Congratulations to the TJYFB 10-year old team for winning the South Suburban Youth Football League (SSYFL) Superbowl, defeating West Allegheny, 14-12.
The 10-year old Jaguars won a hard fought game and held off a late rally from the Indians to preserve the league championship Sunday at Montour High School Stadium.
Coached by Jim Nassida and assistants Don German, Rick Zandier and Tom Vigna, the 10-year olds finish the season with a record of 11-0 while out-scoring opponents, 331-48, with seven shutouts on the season.
